Terms and Conditions

General Information

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • "alfatec.co.uk" refers to AlphaTec Business Ltd.

  • "The Customer" refers to any individual, firm, or company purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods and services from alfatec.co.uk.

By accessing any page on the alfatec.co.uk website, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time without prior notice, and customers should regularly check for updates.

All images on the alfatec.co.uk website are for illustrative purposes only. All products supplied by alfatec.co.uk are new unless stated otherwise in the product description or unless the customer has been notified that the item may be refurbished or compatible.

alfatec.co.uk shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage (including loss of profit), costs, expenses, or claims arising from the supply or use of goods, whether due to negligence or otherwise.

Delivery & Prices

We offer a range of delivery options. Product prices exclude delivery charges, allowing customers to choose their preferred delivery method at checkout.

  • Orders for next-day delivery must be received by 12:00 PM (subject to stock availability). Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be dispatched on the next working day.

  • Delivery times may vary depending on location. If delays occur, we will notify customers via phone or email, offering the option to continue, cancel, or request a partial shipment.

  • Some oversized or heavier items may require special arrangements, and additional charges may apply. Customers will be informed in advance.

  • Photocopiers, large-format printers, and digital duplicators: Free delivery, installation, and training are included when purchased with a service and maintenance agreement. Without this agreement, additional charges will apply.

  • Deliveries are made to ground-floor reception or storage areas only. Additional charges may apply for special delivery requirements.

  • Once delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the goods.

  • Payments are processed only when orders are ready for dispatch.

  • We offer global shipping. For delivery charges on orders over 1.9 kg, please contact us.

Cancellation Policy

Customers must notify Alfatec.co.uk via email ([email protected] )

within seven working days from the date of placing the order to request a cancellation and receive return instructions and Items must be returned in their original,

unopened condition, including all accessories, packaging, documentation, and manuals, 

 Special Order Items Policy:

1. “Special Order Items” refer to products that are sourced, manufactured, or imported specifically to fulfil a customer’s order. These items are not standard stock and are procured on demand.

2. Orders for Special Order Items are non-cancellable and non-refundable once the order has been confirmed.

3. Under the terms of the agreement and applicable consumer protection laws, the buyer’s refusal to accept delivery of a Special Order Item does not constitute grounds for order cancellation or entitlement to a refund.

The buyer remains responsible for the fulfilment of the contract, as the item was specifically sourced, procured, and dispatched to satisfy their confirmed order, and the seller has fulfilled all contractual obligations.”

Cancellation may only be considered at the sole discretion of Alfatec.co.uk and, if approved, will be subject to:

• A 45% restocking fee

• All applicable delivery charges

• Any customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees incurred

3. Faulty or Damaged Goods:

If a Special Order Item is found to be faulty or damaged upon delivery, Alfatec.co.uk will:

✔ Arrange a replacement

✔ Or provide a remedy in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Faults resulting from:

Incorrect installation

 Misuse

 Failure to follow manufacturer instructions

will not be considered a product defect.

4. Returns Policy:

Returns of Special Order Items are accepted only with prior written authorisation from Alfatec.co.uk.

Where a return is approved:

• A 45% restocking fee will apply

• Delivery charges are non-refundable

• Goods must be returned unused and in original condition

5. Installation Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

✔ Proper compatibility

✔ Correct installation

✔ Compliance with manufacturer guidelines

Lack of technical knowledge or installation errors does not constitute valid grounds for return or refund.

6. Refused Deliveries:

If a customer:

• Refuses delivery

• Fails to accept shipment

• Declines an authorised replacement

the order will be treated as fulfilled, and the customer may forfeit:

✖ The goods

✖ Refund eligibility

7. Delivery & Delays:

Alfatec.co.uk shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

• Courier or transport providers

• Customs clearance

• Force majeure events

• National or public holidays

Estimated delivery times are guidelines only, not guarantees.

8. Agreement:

By placing an order for a Special Order Item, the customer confirms acceptance of:

Returns & Replacements

  • Customers should verify orders upon delivery.

  • Goods may be returned within seven days if unsatisfied.

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all documentation.

  • alfatec.co.uk does not refund postage and packing fees.

  • Charges for pre-programming services are non-refundable once provided.

  • Refunds will be processed within 30 days, minus any applicable deductions.

  • Special order items and consumables cannot be returned.

  • Electronic parts include a 12-month guarantee.

  • A copy of the purchase invoice must accompany all returns.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo)

  • PayPal (secure online payment, no account required)

  • Bank Transfer

Customers must provide the exact billing address and phone number registered with their payment provider to avoid delays.

Pricing & Stock Availability

We strive to offer competitive pricing and regularly review market rates. Prices and stock availability are subject to change without notice.

Customers should verify pricing and stock availability via phone or email before placing an order.

The price confirmed in the pro forma invoice at checkout is the final charge.
